AM

AM will look at your entire music collection and use similarity data from Amazon and Last.fm to draw a chart of the realtionships between artists you are listening to and other artists that you might also like.

AM is currently under development. This is just me tinkering around learning about Plone, MySQL, Python, and using web services.

• Step One is to upload your playlist. AM can read Winamp playlists (.m3u) and iTunes playlist exports (.txt).
• Step Two (alpha) is to match your uploaded tracks to albums from Amazon and/or Last.fm.
• Step Three (yet to be written) is to fetch similarity data and display the result in an interactive network visualization.

AM will produce a graph of all your music based on similarity

 
 AM will show how artists are related, and show you who is similar to your favorite artists.
