I am a computer analyst working with data visualization and analysis. I try to extract knowledge from often very large sets of structured and unstructured data. I use a wide variety of tools including database systems, scripting languages, and commercial visualization packages. I also write visualization software from scratch when there is no existing package that shows what I'm looking for. (See Experience below for details on applications and languages.)
I started at Sandia as a desktop computer tech and helped manage a modest collection of Novell Netware servers. Since then, I have been a server manager, web application developer, database developer, and network architect. I have designed, built, and maintained entire LANs for hundreds of users on my own. I have also been an integral part of teams building larger networks and network applications.
